nine12 supercars principal Simon Brown commented “After the unfortunate injury to Richard (Smith) we were looking for a new rider to fill the gap. After consultation with Paul and Graham Hurry, my father and Richard himself, we approached Charlie and asked if he would consider coming on board. He jumped at the chance and we have gone from there. Hopefully we can build on the abundance of ability Charlie already has and push forward over the next few months with the Masters Qualifier and Euro Semi’s coming up in July.”
